Chad Murrin was born in 1956. He graduated in law from Cambridge University and then qualified as a barrister.
From 1986 – 2004, he worked for 3i, the private equity and venture capital group.
Over the years, he advised on a large number of mergers and acquisitions, flotations and fund raising transactions, and worked on the IPO of 3i Group plc itself on the London Stock Exchange in 1994. For the last five years of his career at 3i, he was Corporate Development Director.
In 2004, he set up Murrin Associates Limited, and has since developed activities as a Non-executive Director, in managing important corporate projects, and in training and coaching.
He holds the Advanced Diploma in Corporate Finance from The Corporate Finance Faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and holds the CIPD Certificate in Training Practice.
